Random quote I wanted to share:

“Narcissists typically make judgments with greater confidence than other people…and, because their judgments are rendered with such conviction, other people tend to believe them and the narcissists become disproportionately more influential in group situations.”- as found in What the Dog Saw, by Malcolm Gladwell.

I picked this quote because it was true in High School when I be in a classroom of students. There would always be the students who were convinced they were right, and because they were well-liked and popular, they were believed to be right….sometimes on this basis alone, or because no one thought to see through their facade. It’s just as true now as it was in High School. It’s a battle to get past looks and popularity to actually see what a person is worth, but worth it.
